Mac Miller

Mac Miller is a living proof that heartbreak is a blessing in disguise. He successfully took an inspiration from his failed romance on his music and turned it into emotional songs that touched many hearts. His latest album, "Swimming", was an example of that.

Featuring 13 songs, his fifth album was greatly praised by fans and music critics, prompting to it debuting at No. 3 on Billboard 200 chart. It marked his fifth consecutive top five album on the chart. The album received similar success in other countries, with it opening at No. 4 on Canadian Albums chart.

In support of the album, Miller will embark on a North American tour this fall along with Thundercat and J.I.D who are serving as opening acts. The trek will launch on October 21 in San Fransisco and includes stop in New York, Dallas and San Diego. It is set to conclude on December 10 in Vancouver, Canada.

Ahead of his tour, Miller has given fans what to expect from the trek when he graced the stage on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" to perform "Ladders". Backed by the show's house band, the rapper performed an upbeat, jazzy version of the song. He was so engrossed in his performance that he showed off a few of his dance moves near the end of the set.

After releasing an album and touring with his fellow musicians, it appears Miller has no plan to take a break and relax. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the 26-year-old spitter hinted that he might have a new project in the works with Post Malone.

"Me and Post have been talking about doing an album, so we got together," he told the music news outlet. "And then Frank Dukes has worked on a bunch of my records, but we had never met, so he came through, too. And then Thundercat appeared and we all started jamming. It was beautiful. We were just having a great time."
