DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled has come a long way since his humble beginning as a record store employee. Dreaming of becoming a musician since childhood, the Palestinian record producer has now become a trendsetting force and musical visionary. He's striving to be more successful than he already is as he prepares to release his next album "Father of Asahd".

Aiming to give the best for his fans, Khaled takes his work seriously as he enlists a slew of talented collaborators for his seventh studio album. For instances, he recruited Future, Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles for the lead single off the set, "Top Off", which was released on March 2. The song peaked at No. 22 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and at No. 14 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The success of the lead single made the producer strive for more. Tapping the same people who collaborated with him on megahit "I'm the One", Khaled is aiming for another chart domination with the album's second single, "No Brainer" featuring Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper and Quavo of Migos. It was released on July 27.

As one already expected, the track was an instant hit among generations. Billboard opined that the song had all the elements of a summer hit which were an all-star cast, bubbly beats and an infectious chorus. It debuted at No. 5 on Hot 100, making Khaled's fourth top 10 song on the chart. Meanwhile, the song arrived atop U.K.'s Official Trending chart.

"Father of Asahd" is set to hit the shelves this fall. In an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1, Khaled confirmed that there would be eleven songs on the album, even though he actually "recorded more than 11 songs." He said, "Basically, if I can't get what I want and get a sound and produce the vibe I want, then it got to stick to it, until I get it right. I'm trying to just turn the album in. I want to make this the album."
