this low-budget potboiler's common moniker is emblematic of its generally generic nature; In the final tally, everyone in "Locked In" turns out to be some sort of thief; given that the movie they're in does little more than steal one's own precious time
it takes the leisurely route to violence, with banal conversations, not games of survival, dominating the viewing experience; Locked In takes the long way to disappointment, with the helmer failing to create a wild B-movie with capable genre ingredients
it makes good use of its enclosed location, but this tough action/thriller never quite manages to get moving, largely thanks to too many thin characters and all-too-familiar story elements
