this is a decent bit of school holiday entertainment, though I felt that some of the purely broad humour did seem to be pitched at a pretty young audience; But it's good natured
entertaining; Dominic Brigstocke, takes the helm, lending visual consistency, but imagination-wise it fails to fully make the leap to the big screen. However, good gags are plentiful and, if the kids are po-faced, the adults give it some comedic welly
despite some fun ideas, Horrible Histories' big screen debut doesn't have nearly enough quality humour to be a satisfying comedy. One for devout completionists only
"Horrible Histories" makes the transition to the big screen with a spring in its step and a beaming smile on its face; Though "Rotten Romans" is perhaps a shade too long, it's got enough in there to keep kids entranced and parents amused
