like the people it depicts, it's not perfect. Instead, it's a very attractive and sometimes messy look at how we perceive other people and how small of a spark it takes to inspire the truth to come out to play
it's not always focused on the problems at hand, but "Happily" doesn't unravel, remaining an inviting puzzle of dark events and interpersonal hostilities, with the material always better off with real feelings instead of self-conscious strangeness
Happily is a super fun dark comedy that will have you laughing along and speculating from the very beginning; The standout of this film is the incredible cast that makes it an absolute joy to watch. Despite its flaws, it's still more than worth watching
