news-detailsBorn on February 10, 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia, Chloe (Grace) Moretz moved to New York City in 2002, with her mother and older brother, Trevor, because he was accepted into the Professional Performing Arts School. As fate would have it, she fell for acting too and learned some performing skills from Trevor. After several auditions, she landed her first acting gig in two episodes of CBS crime series "The Guardian" (2004), starring as Violet.

Chloe's journey to stardom was begun the following year with her critically praised role as Chelsea Lutz in "The Amityville Horror". It won her a nomination of Young Artist Award for the category of Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Actress Age Ten or Younger. From that point, her popularity rose higher than ever and she next secured guest spots on some TV series and a small role in "Big Momma's House 2" (2006).

In 2010, Chloe starred in "Kick Ass" as McCready / Hit-Girl and caused controversies for she was still 15 years old at that time and thus was considered too young to get involved in the violent film. Notwithstanding the pros and cons, her acting was critically acclaimed and she continued invading the big screen with starring roles in movies, like "Let Me In", "Let the Right One In", "Texas Killing Fields", "Hugo", and "Dark Shadows".

In 2013, Chloe reprised her role as Hit Girl in "Kick Ass 2" and was then signed to star in the 2014 "If I Stay". Her other features included "The Equalizer", "Dark Places", and "The Fifth Wave". On small screen, she had guest starred on "My Name Is Earl", "Desperate Housewives", "Dirty Sexy Money", "30 Rock", also "American Dad".
