Austin Carter Mahone, born April 4, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas, is poised for stardom at the young age of 17. He also has multi talents and the charm that equal the Canadian singer.

Mahone taught himself drums and took guitar lessons for a year and a half. In September 2011, the music prodigy debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard Social 50 chart, becoming the youngest to appear on the list. He rose to #28 on the list by the end of the year and eventually got a record deal with YMCM and Republic Records a few months later.

His first single "11:11" climbed to No. 19 on the Billboard Heatseekers Songs chart. It was followed by a second single called "Say Somethin" which performed even better than his first. It charted at #34 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. He was booked for many big events including B96 SummerBash in Chicago and %cTaylor Swift%'s tour as an opening act.

Mahone's star continues to shine in 2013. He sold out New York's famed Best Buy Theater within minutes of on-sales and collected a number of coveted recognitions. He was named Breakout Star at Radio Disney Music Awards, won a Young Hollywood Award, was dubbed Artist to Watch at MTV Video Music Awards, and got a similar title at MTV Europe Music Awards.

He released a self-titled mini album in summer 2013. It featured his two previous singles along with some new materials that included %cFlo Rida%-assisted track "Say You're Just a Friend". His first full-length effort is currently in the works. "What About Love" and "Banga! Banga!" are two of the songs expected to make the cut in the CD.

In fall 2013, he was hospitalized with bad flu and forced to postpone his tour with MTV. "I can't believe this is happening its my first tour I'm so upset. I feel like I'm letting you all down," he informed his fans on Twitter, expressing his regret for the tour delay. "It's Doctor's orders. I have a bad flu 103 fever and I can't move. If I could go I would."
