"Rent: Live" is a 2019 American live television musical based on the 1996 Broadway musical of the same name by Jonathan Larson. The television adaptation was directed by Michael Greif and Alex Rudzinski, and stars Vanessa Hudgens, Jordan Fisher, Brandon Victor Dixon, Brennin Hunt, Kiersey Clemons, and Valentina. The musical follows a group of impoverished artists struggling to survive in New York City's East Village under the shadow of AIDS in the 1990s. The television adaptation features a new song, "Seasons of Love (2019)", written by Larson specifically for the film.
