The Equalizer 2 is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk. The film is a sequel to the 2014 film The Equalizer, and stars Denzel Washington reprising his role as Robert McCall, a retired CIA agent who becomes a vigilante after the death of his wife. The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 20, 2018.
