The Happy Prince is a 2018 biographical drama film about the final years of Oscar Wilde's life. The film is directed by Rupert Everett, who also stars as Wilde. The film is based on the 1997 biography of Wilde by Richard Ellmann, and it follows Wilde's life from his release from prison in 1897 to his death in Paris in 1900.
