Maya the Bee: The Honey Games is an upcoming animated film set to be released in 2018. The film is based on the popular German children's book of the same name by Waldemar Bonsels. The film tells the story of Maya, a young bee who dreams of becoming a honey collector. When the Honey Games, a competition to find the best honey collector in the hive, are announced, Maya enters with the hopes of proving herself. The film is directed by Alexs Stadermann and features the voices of Coco Jack Gillies, Benson Jack Anthony, and Jacki Weaver.
