After being the guest of honor on a Netflix's live special, the retired football player allegedly reaches out to his former supermodel wife to 'apologize' to her.

AceShowbiz - Tom Brady reportedly has reached out to Gisele Bundchen following his offensive Netflix roast. After being the guest of honor during Netflix's live special, "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady", the retired football player allegedly apologized to his former wife for jokes that "offended" her.

On Wednesday, May 8, a source spilled what the 46-year-old athlete did after it was reported that Gisele was disappointed by the jokes. Speaking to Us Weekly, a source revealed, "Tom did reach out to Gisele to apologize to her."

The source went on to say, "Gisele and Tom had a 'no disparaging remarks' rule when it came to speaking about each other or their marriage and divorce. She is definitely offended and upset about the comments made at the roast."

According to the insider, the 43-year-old Brazilian model "is aware that it comes with the territory of a roast but didn't think there were going to be that many remarks made about her and especially her new relationship" with Joaquim Valente, who is her and her kids' jiu-jitsu instructor.

"[Gisele] thinks her new relationship should have been off-limits," the insider further told the media outlet. Referring to the blonde beauty and the former NFL star, the insider additionally shared, "They are cordial and only communicate about the kids."

In the meantime, a different source told Page Six on Wednesday, "Everything was all in good fun. Gisele needs to get a sense of humor." The source added, "Just like with any roast neither Tom, nor any of the participants knew what was going to be said about them. But as with any roast they target public parts of your life."

That same day, a production source spoke to the outlet, "If Gisele wanted to keep her relationship private, she shouldn't have been making out with her jiu-jiu instructor in the middle of the street. She showed more than just her cards that Valentine's day." The source added, "it's fair game."

The statements came a few days after Tom became the guest of honor on "The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady". During the Sunday, May 5 special, his friends, including host Kevin Hart, poked fun at him. Kevin, in his part, mocked the 7-time Super Bowl champion over Gisele's new boyfriend Joaquim.

Following the special, Gisele allegedly was upset with the "irresponsible" jokes about her family. On Wednesday, the supermodel looked downcast when she stepped out for the first time since the "disrespectful" Netflix roast.
