In a new interview, the YouTube star and singer opens up about the producers' attempts to stir up drama and her reasons for refusing to call Abby Lee Miller.

AceShowbiz - JoJo Siwa is sharing her perspective on the recent "Dance Moms: The Reunion" special, revealing some behind-the-scenes tension that played out during filming.

In her podcast "JoJo Siwa Now", the 20-year-old singer and dancer explained that the reunion did not go as she expected. "There was a few times on the reunion where the producers tried to do some shady s**t," Siwa said, claiming they tried to orchestrate drama between her and other former cast members.

Siwa specifically recalled a moment when producers encouraged her to call Abby Lee Miller, their former dance teacher. "The producers wanted me and ChloƩ to kind of get into it a little bit and talk about our online beef, and honestly that's not how I feel anymore," she said. They also asked her to call out the stars who didn't participate in the reunion, including Nia Sioux, Maddie Ziegler, and Mackenzie Ziegler.

However, Siwa refused to engage in these tactics, stating that she wanted to protect her relationship with Miller as well as her friends who had a more difficult relationship with her. "Me and Kalani are the two that have a relationship with Abby... Paige, Brooke, and Chloe don't have any, and it was not a healthy end of a relationship," Siwa said.

Siwa explained that she believed it was important to respect the trauma that some of her co-stars had experienced with Miller. "I have a good relationship with Abby... I have chosen to see that Abby only ever wanted what was best for me and only ever was tough on me because she wanted what was best for me," she said. "So for me, I wanted to protect my relationship with Abby, and I wanted to protect my relationship with Brooke, Paige, and Chloe."

Despite the producers' attempts to stir up drama, Siwa ultimately felt that the reunion was a positive experience. "It was so healing for all of us," she said. However, she believes there is still a better way to revisit the "Dance Moms" legacy.

"I thought there was, honestly... a better way to do it," Siwa said. "And I think we could still do this, depending on if people are down or not." Her suggestion? To lock all of them in a house for a month. "In the two days that we were together, there was drama... little shady bits. So just imagine! I think it would be so fun."

Abby Lee Miller did not attend the reunion, but Siwa revealed that producers had tried to get her to call Miller during filming. Siwa said she refused because she did not want to put Miller in an awkward position with her former students who had a difficult relationship with her.
