In a dazzling ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard, the rock legend joins the constellation of stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a milestone celebrated with friends, including fellow musician Mayer.

Hagar's star is located on Hollywood Boulevard, across the street from Fieri's restaurant. The two founded the premium tequila brand Santo Spirit in 2019.

Born in Monterey, California, Hagar began his musical journey at the age of 14 with the band The Fabulous Castilles. He gained recognition as the frontman of the hard rock band Montrose and embarked on a successful solo career before joining Van Halen in 1985.

With Van Halen, Hagar led the band to four multi-platinum, No. 1 Billboard charting albums and nine No. 1 mainstream rock hits. He has also released several solo albums, formed the supergroup Chickenfoot, and currently tours with Sammy Hagar and the Circle.

Hagar joins an elite group of musicians honored with a star on the Walk of Fame. His recognition is a testament to his enduring talent, influence and contributions to the world of rock and roll.
