In a new interview at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation grand opening, Eustace makes it clear that she's not interested in getting involved in their 'pathetic' drama.

AceShowbiz - Mary Jo Eustace is weighing on the divorce between her ex-husband Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling. In a new interview, Eustace made it clear that she's not interested in getting involved in their "pathetic" drama in any way.

"We're really busy and we have real lives, but to me, it's rinse, lather and repeat," Eustace, who divorced the actor in 2006, told PEOPLE when attending the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation grand opening in West Hollywood on Thursday, April 25. "The same drama, the same plea for press, and it's pathetic. And we've worked really hard to get away from it."

The former cooking show host, who was joined by her 25-year-old son Jack McDermott at the event, added that some people would contact her about the divorce war. "People reach out to you and they send you stuff, and I just say, 'We're not interested.' And my son's chosen to go his own way, and so is my daughter. There's a whole story behind that," Eustace explained. "Because it's been 20 years of it, we're used to it. But no, I don't ever go looking for it, ever."

In a separate interview at the same event, Eustace appeared to play coy when asked about her ex-husband's divorce from the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum. "What are you talking about?" she said while laughing. Of herself and her son, she told ET, "We're so good. We're so above the nonsense."

"He just took his LSATs. He's going to law school. My daughter's in pre-med. It's just the same tacky shenanigans, so we just have no interest. Things are good," the "Senior B***hes" podcast host added, referring to daughter Lola.

During the chat, Eustace also gushed over her son. She raved, "It's great to hang with him. He's my best friend. I think he's my best friend, but he might think different. I'm not going to argue with that."

McDermott first announced his split from Spelling in a June 2023 Instagram post, though he has since deleted the post. This March, Spelling officially filed for divorce from McDermott after 17 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. She requested spousal support, and sought sole physical custody and joint legal custody of their five children, Liam (17), Stella (15), Hattie (12), Finn (11) and Beau (7).
