AceShowbiz - HBO Max has unveiled the first trailer for "Pretty Little Liars: Summer School", the second season of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin". Shared on Thursday, April 18, the new footage sees the Liars facing a nightmare during summer school, "a fate worse than death."

The trailer features the Liars, played by Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles and Maia Reficco, being told to complete a summer school as their grades continue dropping. While the counselor promised them that A will never be able to hurt them because he's on death row, a new villain emerges to haunt the fictional town of Millwood.

Amid their fun summer jobs and new, dreamy love interests, they quickly get involved in a dangerous game with an unknown assailant who is believed connected to A. Soon enough, the Liars realize that they are, in fact, the "final girls."

The official synopsis of the new season reads, "Following the harrowing events of 'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin', our Pretty Little Liars face a fate worse than death-summer school. However, Millwood High isn't the only thing getting in the way of their fun summer jobs and new, dreamy love interests. A new villain, who may or may not have a connection to A, has come to town and is going to put them all to the test."

"Original Sin", the first season of "Pretty Little Liars", premiered five years after the original series ended. Picking up 20 years after a series of tragic events on the original series, the reboot follows new characters in the new fictional town of Millwood, PA., which had surprising connections to its neighboring town Rosewood.

"Pretty Little Liars: Summer School" also stars Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Alex Aiono, Jordan Gonzalez and Elias Kacavas. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa creates, writes and executive produces it alongside Lindsay Calhoon Bring.

"Pretty Little Liars: Summer School" will premiere its first 2 episodes on Thursday, May 9, before airing one new episode weekly through June 20.
