AceShowbiz - Laurence Fishburne's eldest daughter, Montana Fishburne, has been sentenced to 24 months of probation after pleading no contest to battery on a law enforcement officer in Florida. She was initially charged with a felony but later changed her plea.
According to police records, Montana called 911 claiming that an ex-boyfriend was stalking and threatening her. When officers arrived, they found Montana standing on the sidewalk and yelling that no one had helped her. She allegedly approached the officers despite being ordered to stay back, then slapped one in the head, causing swelling and redness on his ear.
Montana has previously been arrested for DUI and other misdemeanors in 2017 and 2020. She has also pursued a career in adult films, a decision she has said her mother supports.
As part of her probation, Montana will complete a 13-week anger management program. Her attorney stated that the case will be sealed and considered put in the past once she has met all probation requirements.
Laurence Fishburne, Montana's father, has not publicly commented on her legal issues or career choices.
