A scene from the 'Dance the Night' songstress' 'Illusion' music video is being compared to the 'Flowers' hitmaker's cover art for her 2023 album after Paul Butcher's comment on the two.

AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa has been accused of copying Miley Cyrus' "Endless Summer Vacation" aesthetic. The "Dance the Night" songstress found herself in hot water as she made many believe that she has been copying the "Flowers" hitmaker.
On Wednesday, April 17, a blog shared a collage photo comparing pictures of the 28-year-old British singer to that of Miley. It seemingly suggested that she has been using the latter as an inspiration. It also compared a snap, which was taken from a scene in her "Illusion" music video, to the cover art for Miley's album titled "Endless Summer Vacation".
In Dua's photo, which had blue sky as the background, it could be seen that she was holding on to a circular silver pipe and being pulled up from the water into the air. While doing so, she folded one of her legs as if to cover her private area. She was photographed looking straight at the camera.
Similarly, in Miley's cover art, the singer/actress was pictured being pulled up by a rectangular pipe, which she tightly held with both of her hands. She covered her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses as she folded her leg to the side. In addition, the background of the snap was a dark shade of blue.
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with comments from Instagram users, who voiced their opinions on the matter. One in particular slammed Dua, "I do think it was wayyyyy too soon for that hanging picture with the blue background. Endless Summer Vaca was released last year. if it's inspiration give it at least 10 damn years to marinate."
Another appeared to have blamed Dua's team for the similarities by writing, "This is what happens when you don't hire creative people." A third penned, "Mmmmm I can see it, it is a bit of a copy," adding a side eyes emoji. A fourth added, "Wtf, it's clearly the same concept."
The post came after Nickelodeon star Paul Butcher discussed the similarities between Dua and Miley on Reclip. Paul stated, "I love Dua Lipa. Don't get me wrong, but I just, I don't know, I think she's been copying Miley Cyrus." He continued, "I can't tell if she's doing it on purpose or not but she's literally copying Miley."
