The 'Soul Survivor' rapper now asks a judge to give him and his estranged wife their fair share of parental time with their 2-year-old daughter Monaco after asking the court for primary custody in a previous motion.

AceShowbiz - Jeezy (formerly Young Jeezy) apparently has had a change of heart in his custody battle against his estranged wife Jeannie Mai. The rapper has walked back his request for primary custody of their his daughter Monaco, whom he shares with the TV personality.

Per TMZ's report, Jeezy has filed a new motion in which he asks the judge to grant each him and Jeannie their fair share of parental time with their 2-year-old child. He asks for a hearing to hash out a temporary parenting schedule to accommodate his request.

In the same motion, Jeezy reiterates his claims about Jeannie, whom he accuses of restricting his access to his kid. He says they worked out an informal custody agreement last year, but that fell apart at the beginning of 2024, resulting in him barely seeing his daughter in this year so far.

Jeezy says Jeannie suddenly vacated the house he and Jeannie used to share and took their child with her. He was only aware of their move when he sent someone to pick up his daughter for a visit earlier this month. Since then, he says he often has no idea where his daughter is, which he claims violates their agreement.

The 46-year-old rapper also claims that his estranged wife blocked his number, so he cannot have FaceTime calls with his daughter. He additionally balks at Jeannie's claim that his gun ownership is the reason she doesn't want her daughter seeing him, noting that he's always owned guns and has never put their daughter in harm's way.

Previously, Jeezy filed a motion requesting that his daughter be allowed to live with him full-time. In the docs filed on April 10, he accused his ex of staging a photo of their child with one of his guns to make it look like she's unsafe around him. He went on to allege that Jeannie or her brother "staged" a photo of their child near his gun.

Jeezy also argued that Jeannie's extensive travel schedule is too much for their kid and that she has tasked her brother and mother with the majority of the care of Monaco. "It is not good for a 2-year-old child to travel extensively," his previous motion stated. He claimed their daughter "would have more stability if the Petitioner had primary physical custody," adding she needs to "maintain her bond with both parents."
