For the record, Kelly filed the legal docs on March 11, accusing Brandon and his father Narvel Balckstock's management company, Starstruck Entertainment, of violating California labor laws.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband has responded to her latest lawsuit. More than a month after the former "American Idol" winner filed her complaint, Brandon Blackstock fired back at her allegations.

For the record, Kelly, previously won a $2.6 million legal ruling against Brandon. In her new lawsuit, she accused Brandon and his father Narvel Balckstock's management company, Starstruck Entertainment, of violating California labor laws, specifically the Talent Agencies Act, by acting as an "unlicensed talent agency" that booked business deals on her behalf dating back to 2007.

"Based on the wrongful acts and conduct of Starstruck … all agreements between the parties, should be declared void and unenforceable," read the lawsuit. "And all monies previously paid by cross-complainants to Starstruck should be disgorged from Starstruck, forthwith."

Now, Brandon denied "each and every allegation" raised by his ex-wife. He insiited the filing should be dismissed because the labor commissioner's ruling was made in November 2023.

Since Kelly failed to "file a notice of appeal within 10 days," from when the decision was made in order to request more than the $2.6 million that was ruled upon, Brandon and his lawyers claimed it is outside of the proper jurisdiction to file a separate lawsuit now. He also stated that the alleged illegal earnings he and Starstruck Management procured were already paid into his and Kelly's community estate.
