The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman makes a surprise cameo on the recent episode of the iconic game show as a stand-in for the original emcee, joining co-host Vanna White.

AceShowbiz - "Wheel of Fortune" viewers were treated to a surprise on April 1 when Jared Leto filled in as host for the game show's April Fools' Day episode.

While regular host Pat Sajak was conspicuously absent at the start of the show, viewers were greeted by Leto and Vanna White entering stage left, arm-in-arm. The announcer proclaimed, "Here are the stars of our show: Jared Leto and Vanna White!"

Leto seamlessly stepped into Sajak's role, wishing White a "great show" and then proceeding with the game as usual. Donning a black suit, he even used Sajak's catchphrase, telling the contestants, "Grab those devices. It's time to give away some money."

The prank lasted only briefly, as the show abruptly cut to Sajak, who resumed hosting without acknowledging Leto's appearance. Fans on social media expressed confusion and amusement, with some wondering why the surprise cameo was never mentioned again.

While this was Leto's first time hosting "Wheel of Fortune," it was not his first appearance on the show. Last year, he and his brother Shannon Leto participated as contestants. The bit was a clever way to announce the world tour of their band, 30 Seconds to Mars.

Despite Leto's entertaining performance, Pat Sajak remains the beloved host of "Wheel of Fortune." He has announced that the current season, which ends in June, will be his last. Ryan Seacrest has been tapped to take over hosting duties in the fall.
