The 29-year-old singer has taken to social media to give update on her condition after going under the knife for double mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

AceShowbiz - Country singer Morgan Wade, 29, has provided an update on her recovery four months after undergoing a double mastectomy and breast reconstruction last November. After a preventive surgery due to her predisposition to breast cancer, she has made a full recovery.

Wade explained that she carries the RAD51D gene mutation, increasing her risk of breast cancer. To take a proactive approach, she underwent surgery to prevent the disease.

The singer said, "It's been four months and I've been back to powerlifting and running." She has also regained the ability to perform push-ups, pull-ups, and get massages, which were challenging during her recovery.

Regarding her breast reconstruction, Wade received implants and had her nipples removed. While still adjusting to her body's changes, she stated, "This was worth it."

In addition, Wade plans to undergo egg retrieval for future fertility preservation and a hysterectomy and oophorectomy to remove her uterus and ovaries as preventative measures.

Wade expressed her gratitude for her fans' support and excitement about returning to performing. She ended her post with optimism, saying, "I am blessed God got me through this and has allowed me to heal fast and I look forward to a healthy long life Lord willing."
