Meanwhile, the Princess of Wales and her husband Prince William are reportedly mulling over who should take Prince Louis' birthday snap after the Photoshop scandal.

AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton will likely address her mysterious health issue at a public event, but she's not going to be "rushed" to do it. A new report claims that the Princess of Wales may come clean about the widespread concerns over her health and well-being when she returns to public duty and whenever she feels ready.

"I can see a world in which the princess might discuss her recovery out on engagements," a royal source told The Sunday Times over the weekend. Noting that Kate and Prince William are "at their most open" when out interacting with members of the public, the source added, "If she was going to do it, that's how she would do it."

The informant claimed that the 42-year-old royal "wants to be transparent, but will only speak when they feel ready," adding, "I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They're not going to be rushed."

In the same article, it's reported that Kate and William have been debating who should take Prince Louis' upcoming birthday snap after the Photoshop gaffe. "They appreciate the public's love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them on their birthdays," the source shared.

The so-called insider said that no "firm decision" has been made yet on whether Kate will take the picture or leave it to a professional photographer, ahead of her third child's 6th birthday on April 23.

Kate previously was caught editing a never-before-seen portrait of her and her three kids which she shared on Mother's Day. After multiple photo agencies issued a "kill notice" notification on the image, she issued an apology. Calling herself an "amateur photographer," she stated, "I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused."

Meanwhile, the Palace announced her "successful" surgery in January. "The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery," a statement shared via Instagram read. However, it noted that the mother of three was "unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter" and hoped to maintain as much "normality for her children as possible."
