Many Reddit users are wondering why the former star of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' would sell the bag at that price while the handles were visibly turning brown.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has landed in hot water once again. "The Kardashians" star found herself being labeled "desperate" for selling her "dirty" Hermes purse for nearly $70,000 on her family's resale site, Kardashian Kloset.
"RARE color and construction Hermes Birkin 30 bag from Kim's coveted collection; 'Ciment', or grey matte Alligator Birkin bag with gold hardware and double handles; Twist lock and lock & key closure," read the description. "Good condition; some discoloration on handles and underside bottom corners, and minor scratching on metal; does not come with a CITES certificate."
Reddit users were wondering why Kim would sell the bag at that price while the handles were visibly turning brown. "Seriously how desperate are they for money? And why does no one find it strange that these 'billionaires' are selling their second hand clothes?" one user wrote.
Another argued, "70 k for a dirty bag, holy hell!" A third commented, "This is so embarrassing. Why don't they get it restored by H before selling it?" Someone else chimed in, "The nerve to list at that price with all of the discolouration in the handles and wear & tear on the bottom and lower corners…. sKam artists."
The criticism didn't stop there. More came forward with one writing, "The hardware is all scuffed and dull, the edges are worn and slightly frayed, and it's discolored from makeup/tanner. Just wow. Anyone who buys this from them is an idiot, they can't even be bothered to restore it or have it stored properly. Is this even a real piece? They really have no shame!"
The price tag, however, may actually be a fair deal. The same style available on sale in new condition on 1stdibs is $120,875.
