The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress, who has previously labeled Taylor her 'only friend in the industry,' sparks mixed reactions after leaving an eyebrow-raising comment on the post.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has left an eyebrow-raising comment under Taylor Swift's picture with her friends at the 2024 Super Bowl. The "Only Murders in the Building" actress insinuated that she was sad to have missed out on the gathering.
In the said picture, which was shared by a Taylor Swift fan page on Instagram, the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker was seen posing alongside Ice Spice, Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey and other pals. It was captioned, "@taylorswift with her friends at the Super Bowl!"
Catching wind of the post, Selena left out a crying and red heart emoji in the comment section. It has since drawn mixed reactions among online users.
Some people were not please that Selena was "trying to involve herself" so they criticized her for leaving the crying emoji. However, others argued that the former Disney darling was simply "missing"her BFF and expressing her emotions.
"She probably couldn't make it and seeing her bestie with friends probably made her feel sad," one user opined. "It's normal." Another wrote, "she so real for that, missing mah sis."
In a past interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Selena said Taylor is "only" her friend in the industry. "I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities," she said. "My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn't belong."
"I felt the presence of everyone around me living full lives," the singer, who's currently dating Benny Blanco, added. "I had this position, and I was really happy, but... was I? Do these materialistic things make me happy? [I realized] I just didn't like who I was, because I didn't know who I was."
