AceShowbiz - Hilary Swank really enjoys being a mom for the first time. Hours after revealing the names of her twins, the "Million Dollar Baby" star opened up about her "extraordinary" motherhood journey.
"It is the best in the whole wide world," the 49-year-old said of parenthood in the Wednesday, February 14 episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". She added, "It's more joy and more fun and more exhausting-it's more everything than I ever thought it would be. It's more glorious. It's the most extraordinary thing."
Hilary, who welcomed her first children with husband Philip Schneider in April 2023, went on to share cute moments of the 10-month-olds so far. "My daughter, the first thing she started ever saying, she sounded like a morning dove," she told host Jimmy Fallon. "And then it turned into a growl. She growls, but like really commits."
"Now, she's also saying hi," Hilary added. "She goes, 'Hi, hi, hi,' to everything." When it comes to her son, the proud mom said that his go-to is exclaiming, "Ah!" and pointing at everything he sees.
Earlier on Wednesday, Hilary revealed the names of her babies on Instagram. She posted a photo of daughter Aya and son Ohm sitting on a beach, with their names written on the sand and faces toward the water. Aya wore a pink onesie and Ohm wore blue.
"I have a busy week of talk shows ahead where I'll be sharing about my new film and a fun partnership, but I figured what better day to share the names of my two little loves with you all first, Thanks for being here!!" she captioned the post. "Happy Valentine's Day."
