AceShowbiz - Ice Spice has received a negative response from Candace Owens regarding her latest single titled "Think U The S**t (Fart)". The "Princess Diana" raptress' first song in 2024 was highly criticized by the TV presenter a few days after its release.
The 34-year-old activist voiced her opinions on the 24-year-old hip-hop artist's newly-released single in the Wednesday, January 31 episode of "Candace Owens Podcast". She stated, "Ice Spice recently released a song and I'm going to tell you what the song's title is. It's called 'Think You the S**t (Fart)'. Yeah, I'm sorry that's the title of the song, it's called 'Think You the S**t (Fart)'."
Candace went on to say, "If you're wondering whether or not it's a good song, what do you think? it's called 'Think You the S**t (Fart)'." She explained, "Now I think we can all admit that we've fallen as a society. I mean I wouldn't say that that was Mozart or Beethoven but I'm not all of these mainstream media publications that routinely rush to defend this kind of music. They will then write a sit down and write an article trying to convince you that what you just heard was magical."
"And they did this with this Ice Spice song again entitled 'Think You the S**t (Fart)'," the TV personality continued. She began reading parts of an article about the track before bursting into laughter. She sarcastically declared, "It's Mozart everybody, it's Beethoven obviously. What you just heard was amazing."
Candace reiterated, "And if you don't think it's amazing, look no further than the mainstream media, who will try to convince you that it's daring, it's contemporary, it is igniting discussions across social media platforms." She further pointed out, "I just want to live in a society where we can all acknowledge that a song that's entitled 'Think You the S**t (Fart)' is in fact itself a s**t fart."
The unpleasant comment came a few days after the song "Think You the S**t (Fart)" arrived. On Friday, January 26, Ice dropped the latest single via 10K Projects and Capitol Records. On it, she raps, "Think you the s**t, b***h?/ You not even the fart (Grrah)/ I be goin' hard (Grrah)/ I'm breakin' they hearts, like/ B***hes be quick, but I'm quicker (Like)/ B***hes be thick, but I'm thicker (Like)/ She could be rich, but I'm richer (Damn)."
