The 'View' co-host slams the Queen of Pop after she was sued by fans for delaying her concert for two hours, accusing the singer of 'false advertisement.'

AceShowbiz - Sara Haines criticized Madonna in a new episode of "The View". The co-host of the morning talk show slammed the Queen of Pop after she was sued by fans for delaying her concert for two hours.

"It is disrespectful," Sara said in the Friday, January 19 episode of the show. "You are literally flipping off your fans who paid to come and watch you. You can be a diva, you should not act like a diva."

Fellow co-host Joy Behar echoed the sentiment and joked, "I personally wouldn't wait two hours to get a hot oil massage from George Clooney, much less a concert by anybody!" Alyssa Farah Griffin, meanwhile, stressed that it's just "disrespectful to an audience that loves you and spends a lot of money to be there."

However, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro came to Madonna's defense with Ana noting that fans should "know" they're "gonna wait for two hours and listen to a DJ." Sunny added, "I'm not bothered by this, and I don't think she should be sued. This is baked into Madonna, she's an icon, she's always late. It's part of her allure." Ana then joked that Sara was acting "like a concert virgin stood up for the very first time."

The discussion came after two fans of Madonna filed a lawsuit against the "Material Girl" hitmaker over "false advertising" after she showed up to her "Celebration" tour stop in Brooklyn, NY two hours late in December 2023. While she has yet to respond to the lawsuit, the "Vogue" songstress was said to be late because of technical issues during sound check.

Madonna kicked off her tour, which was initially set to start in July 2023, in October of the same year in London. She was forced to delay her tour after she was hospitalized for a "serious bacterial infection" in June.
