The 'What Goes Around... Comes Around' hitmaker reportedly files a trademark for what appears to be the title of his forthcoming album, 'Everything I Thought It Was'.

AceShowbiz - Justin Timberlake has surprised his fans with the possibility of him releasing a new album. It was reported that the "What Goes Around... Comes Around" hitmaker filed a trademark for the phrase "Everything I Thought It Was" after he teased the title of his upcoming music project.

On Friday, January 19, TMZ revealed that the 42-year-old singer's trademark history might be an indication that he is releasing a new album soon. The outlet spilled that his trademark applications for the phrases "Everything I Thought It Was" and "Everything I Thought It Was ... A Sonic film" have been filed.

In new legal documents obtained and published by the media outlet, it could be seen that the application for the "Everything I Thought It Was" trademark was filed by an entity called TBTHC LLC. It was also signed by C. Brandon Browning, the same attorney who did the same thing for Justin's album titled "Man of the Woods", which was released back in 2018.

The revelation came a few days after Justin teased what appeared to be the title of his upcoming album. On Wednesday, January 17, he uploaded a series of mystery photos via Instagram. One of the pictures featured a message that simply read, "EITIW," which seemingly made a reference to "Everything I Thought It Was". Along with the snaps, he wrote in the caption of the post, "EITIW."

After releasing the photos on his Instagram page, Justin quickly received positive online responses from his fans, some of whom have guessed what "EITIW" referred to. In the comments section, one in particular shared, " 'Everytime I Twerk I Win' is my final guess." Similarly, another penned, "Everytime I Try To Fly I Fall….. oh wait."

In the meantime, other Instagram users voiced their excitement for his new music project. One of them exclaimed, "IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING RIGHT NOW? I MUST BE DREAMING." Another penned, " 'Everything I Thought I Wanted' or what….? Whatever it is, it better be good, RANDALL….especially since we're clearly not getting an NSYNC tour."
