AceShowbiz - Ryan Gosling might not take home an acting award from the 2024 Critics' Choice Awards, but he left a lasting memory following his appearance at the Sunday, January 14 ceremony. The actor has gone viral with his hilarious reaction when "Barbie" won Best Song.

During the show held at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport in Santa Monica, California, "I'm Just Ken", which Gosling performs for the 2023 fantasy comedy film, was named as Best Song. It beat out odds-on favorite "What Was I Made For" by Billie Eilish, as well as Dua Lipa's "Barbie" song "Dance the Night".

Seemingly not expecting it the least, the Canadian actor looked shocked and confused when the winner was announced. As the camera panned to him, he furrowed his eyebrows and looked suspicious as he needed a few seconds to comprehend it.

Meanwhile, director Greta Gerwig, who sat on the same table with Gosling, was quick to celebrate the win. She was seen getting up from her seat and joyfully smiling, before writers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt accepted the award. Gosling chose to remain seated, cheering Ronson and Wyatt from the table.

Video of the moment quickly became viral, with many laughing at Gosling's honest reaction. One X, formerly Twitter, user said the actor "created a new meme with this face" at the show. Another viewer said, "I'm sill laughing at Ryan Gosling's face hahahaha."

"Yoooo Ryan Gosling's face on the 'I'm just Ken' song SENT ME!" a third added. A fourth enthused, "ryan gosling being surprised 'im just ken' won is so im just ken of him." A fifth person gushed, "Ryan gosling a mean girl totally fetching it yeahhhhhh."

"Not Ryan Gosling just being shocked cause 'I'm just Ken' won best song LMFAO," another fan commented, while someone else said the 43-year-old hunk had "the best reaction to an award."

When accepting the award, Ronson acknowledged Gosling's importance in making the song come to life. "Ryan Gosling, this is as much your award as ours," the songwriter said in his speech, as Gosling beamed from the crowd. The musician added, "You made the world, or the audience, fall in love with this song with your matchless performance, so thank you."
