Greta Gerwig's movie and 'Oppenheimer' are nominated for the top movie award, while Selena Gomez's Hulu series and 'The Crown' are among the TV nominees.

AceShowbiz - It's the Producers Guild of America's (PGA) turn to reveal its own nominees of the best film and television producers. The guild announced the full list of nominations in both movie and TV categories on Friday, January 12.
Up for the Darryl F. Zanuck Award are "Barbie", "Oppenheimer", "Maestro", "Poor Things" and "Anatomy of a Fall". "American Fiction", "The Holdovers", "Killers of the Flower Moon", "Past Lives" and "The Zone of Interest" are among other contenders in the category, which often becomes the barometer for the best picture Oscar race.
In the animated movie category, "The Boy and the Heron" is pitted against "Elemental", "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse", "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem".
On the TV side, "Only Murders in the Building" receives a nomination in the episodic television - comedy category alongside "Barry", "The Bear", "Jury Duty"and "Ted Lasso". Meanwhile, "The Crown", "The Diplomat", "The Last of Us", "The Morning Show" and "Succession" are among the nominees in the episodic television - drama category.
The awards will also honor the best in talk show, limited series, TV movie, game show and non-fiction show production. Overall, Netflix and HBO lead the race in TV field with 11 nods apiece, followed by Hulu with six and Apple TV+ with five.
The 35th annual Producers Guild Awards will be held on February 25 at The Ray Dolby Ballroom, Ovation Hollywood at Hollywood and Highland. It was previously announced that Martin Scorsese would receive the David O. Selznick Achievement Award. Charles D. King is set to receive the Milestone Award, while recipients of the Norman Lear Achievement Award and Stanley Kramer Award will be announced soon.
The nominees in the sports, children's and short form categories were announced in December 2023. Winners in these categories will also be unveiled earlier, during the week of February 19.
