AceShowbiz - Metro Boomin has confirmed he is not beefing with Drake despite fans thinking otherwise. The record producer claimed he's not beefing with the "Certified Lover Boy" artist.

The 30-year-old set the record straight when responding to someone on X, formerly Twitter, asking whether he was seriously feuding with the Canadian rap star. "Are u and Drake seriously beefing or is it not that deep," aske the individual, to which he replied, "not deep at all lmao."

Just a few weeks earlier, Metro dissed Drake and 21 Savage's joint album, "Her Loss". On December 2, he replied to a tweet from HipHopAllDayy, which stated that "Heroes & Villains" was 1.3 billion streams ahead of "Her Loss".

In his message, Metro penned, "Yet Her Loss still keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V." He added in a since-deleted post, "Proof that awards shows are just politics and not for me. [I don't care] about awards honestly, the true award and reward is knowing that the music I spend so much time on brings joy to peoples everyday lives."

Drake has seemingly caught wind of the diss. On Sunday, he shared on Instagram Story a screenshot of Jay-Z's lyrics on "Heart of the City (Ain't No Love)", which read, "Damn. little mans, I'm just tryin' to do me/If the record’s two mil, I'm just tryin' to move three."

Metro released "Heroes & Villain" in December 2022. Thhe project follows his debut solo album, "Not All Heroes Wear Capes", which was released in 2018. It consists of 15 songs in total, including "Raindrops" ft. Travis Scott (II).

Drake and 21 Savage, meanwhile, dropped "Her Loss" in November last year. Following its release, the set debuted atop the Billboard 200 albums chart after earning 404,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. The project marks Drake's second No. 1 album of 2022 following "Honestly, Nevermind", which bowed atop the list dated July 2.
