AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian's daughter North West may not always be a fan of her mom's fashion style. The young girl, who is known for her bold comments, shared her brutally honest opinion on the reality TV star's 2023 Met Gala look.
In the Thursday, November 23 episode of "The Kardashians", Kim said, "All North wants to do is rate people's outfits. She loves to critique." That was exactly what North did when her mom brought her to a fitting appointment for the big fashion event.
For the occasion, the 43-year-old would don a Schiaparelli dress which was made of 50,000 freshwater pearls. Seemingly not liking the ensemble, North told Daniel Roseberry, the creative director of Schiaparelli, that her mom's dress could be "a little better."
The 11-year-old added, "There's way too much gaps in the pearls. It looks like she's a Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped." North, whom Kim shares with ex-husband Kanye West, also noted that the pearls looked "fake."
The SKIMS founder quickly corrected her daughter, saying, "No, no, I think you're wrong here. These are very expensive, real pearls. I think you need a lesson on pearls. We're not going for flapper girl-we're going for vintage, authentic pearly girly."
Not stopping there, North also called the dress too "beachy." She additionally criticized the diamond accessories which she thought would "ruin" the outfit. For her final verdict on the ensemble, North said, "I like the pearls. I just don't like that it looks, like, from the Dollar Store."
Daniel himself was taken aback by North's brutal feedback. "This is my worst nightmare come to life. It's like I'm being 'Punk'd'. The night before the Met, getting read for filth," he jokingly said.
That wasn't the only time North blasted Kim for her fashion choice. The budding fashionista also roasted her mom over her Balenciaga outfit for the 2021 Met Gala. "It looks like you were getting covered by a plastic bag and you're suffocating," North said at the time.
In response, Kim said, "I respect your opinion; please just be easy on me today." To that, North replied, "I'm not going to lie, but I won't say it at all if you don't want me to."
Kim, meanwhile, was not the only one facing North's criticism. North once accused Yung Miami of copying her mom with her pearls. The young girl also criticized Kim's ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, telling him, "You're going to the Met Gala, Pete, not the gas station."
