After comparing the Israeli government to Nazis in a since-deleted post, the father of the Victoria's Secret model finds himself bombarded with criticisms by social media users.

AceShowbiz - Mohamed Hadid has found himself in hot water. Shortly after making a controversial social media post in which he compared the Israeli government to Nazis, the father of model Gigi Hadid was bombarded with backlash from social media users, including one who deemed him "disgusting."
In the replies section of a tweet highlighting the 74-year-old real estate developer's deleted post, one X user criticized him by writing, "Disgusting. Jews are the ones attacked. Attacked by Socialists (Nazi and Communist) in Russia, Germany, and the Holy Land." The user continued, "They have zero intent to commit genocide, Hamas openly brags about eliminating the Jews. Every single person supporting the Hamas agenda is vile and the true representation on Nazis."
The negative responses did not stop with that one comment. Another joined in, "These are really stupid people with no relationship to God or they'd be acutely aware that ISRAEL is the Apple of God's Eye. Jews were His chosen people thru whom He incarnated as Jesus Christ." A third one chimed in, "Maybe he should criticize his daughters. Can you imagine how well they would do in Gaza?" The user was referring to Gigi and Bella Hadid.
Earlier that same day, Mohamed, who is Palestinian, uploaded an infographic, which compared the Israeli government to Nazis, via Instagram. The infographic featured a side-by-side comparison of the two's alleged similarities. It was written that both of the parties "expelled millions from their homes" and "enforced collective punishments."
In addition, the infographic showed that Israel "put racial groups in ghettos & camps," which are located in "Gaza," while Nazis did the same in "Auschwitz." It further suggested that Israel's "signature method" was "carpet bombing," whereas Nazis used "gas chambers."
In the same post, Mohamed wrote in the caption, "And both [Nazis and Israel] added and labeled the victims as Terrorists.. regardless of their peacefulness of other activities. Some Palestinians and some Jews even changed their names." However, the post has since been removed.
Mohamed was reacting to Israel-Hamas war, which started following Hamas' unprecedented attack on Israel on October 7. Since then, at least 8,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to Gaza's health ministry, as of Sunday, October 29. The victims are mostly women and minors. In addition, more than 1,400 Israelis have been killed since the incident.
