Appearing to make light of the drama surrounding his wife's shocking revelations, the Oscar winner trolls fans by issuing an 'official statement' in a hilarious video.

AceShowbiz - Will Smith is using joke to deal with the drama surrounding his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith. Showing his sense of humor, the Oscar-winning actor has issued an "official statement" via his Instagram page without really addressing the elephant in the room.

In a clip posted on Tuesday, October 17 and labeled "official statement," the "King Richard" star was filmed sitting in a cozy room and about to begin his speech. "I've got something for you. Here's the thing. So, my opinion on the...," he said.

But before the 55-year-old finished his sentence, he got interrupted by his itchy nose. As he sneezed into his sleeve, the camera zoomed out to show various beautiful landscapes around the world and never returned to Will.

Loving Will's sense of humor, one follower praised the actor as "Genius" in the comments section of the post. Another played along with the "Emancipation" star's joke, writing, "Love this perspective always good to zoom out and look at the big picture !"

"This is the only correct opinion!" a third quipped, while beatboxer Adym Evans reacted, "I'm going to use this next time somebody asks me about politics!" Film producer Brad Haugen remarked, "Needed you to weigh in with this opinion. It's on point!" Comedian King Bach simply said, "Bless you."

Prior to this, Will broke his social media silence after Jada revealed their separation since 2016 by posting a video of him escaping to the sea. In the short clip, the "Suicide Squad" star could be seen sleeping in the cabin of the boat, with the sound of multiple phone notifications going off simultaneously. He was then seen on the deck of the boat smiling as the vessel buzzed along at sea. Seemingly wanting to keep his mind free of any drama, he wrote in the caption, "Notifications off :)"

In a more serious note, Will said in an email to the New York Times newspaper, "When you've been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in, and you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties." He added that he has only now realized that Jada is "more resilient, clever and compassionate than he'd understood."

Meanwhile, Will's kids are seemingly taking the headlines hard. Jaden Smith and Willow Smith reportedly "feel bad for their dad with all the recent headlines about their parents."

A source recently told ET about the Smith kids, which also include Trey Smith, whom Will shares with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino, "They know he has been going through a lot lately and this isn't helping." The source added, "They wish some of their family's private matters remained private."
