The 'Only Murders in the Building' star gushingly calls her longtime friend and organ donor a 'special human being,' eight months after their apparent public falling-out.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez has hinted that she has no hard feelings toward Francia Raisa despite recent speculation about their broken friendship. The singer/actress has brushed off feud rumors as she wished her longtime friend a happy birthday.

The former Disney darling made use of her social media account to send a loving message to the "Grown-ish" alum, who turned 35 on Wednesday, July 26. Posting throwback photos of her and the birthday girl, she gushingly dubbed her bestie a "special human being."

"Happiest of birthdays to this special human being," so the "Only Murders in the Building" star captioned the snaps. She further declared her loyalty to Francia as adding, "No matter where life takes us, I love you. [a heath emoji] @franciaraisa."

Francia has not publicly responded to Selena's post, but many of Selena's followers loved how she appeared to extend an olive branch to Francia. "The way Selena forgives and keeps her gratitude," one fan commented on the post.

A second Instagram user weighed in, "No matter what the issue drama about both of them, Selena end it purely. Kill em with kindness, Selena." Another raved over the 31-year-old star, "girl, u really said kill 'em with kindness lol."

In September 2017, Selena received a kidney transplant from Francia following complication due to her lupus. Francia, however, was reported to have stopped talking to Selena since 2018 due to the latter's unhealthy lifestyle.

Years later, in November 2022, Selena told Rolling Stone magazine that she only had Taylor Swift as a friend in Hollywood. Francia then unfollowed Selena on Instagram, prompting the latter to respond by writing underneath a TikTok video that broke down the drama, "Sorry I didn't mention every person I know."

Francia further fueled the falling-out speculation as she dodged questions about her friendship with Selena earlier this year. Asked in April about where she stood with the "Wolves" songstress, she refused to answer and simply said, "Sunday is so fun … I'm Francia, I'm hanging out with my dog." Further pressed with inquiry if she remained in touch with the recipient of her kidney donor, she once again deflected the question by asking back, "It's a good day isn't it?"
