A few days after fuming at her devotees for naming her fan base 'Kittenz,' the 'Kiss Me More' songstress reportedly sees a significant drop in the numbers of her Instagram followers.

AceShowbiz - Doja Cat appeared to have been ditched by a big number of her followers. A few days after she lashed out at her fans for naming her fan base "Kittenz," the "Kiss Me More" songstress was reported to have lost more than 230,000 followers on Instagram.
The total number of followers that the 27-year-old lost was shown through figures, which were created by social media analysis company Crowdtangle and were obtained by Billboard. It exposed that she lost 237,758 followers on Instagram.
In the past 30 days, the "Get Into It" rapper has also nearly lost 300,000 followers on the same social media platform. As of Tuesday, July 25, she has a total of 25.7 million Instagram users following her account.
Twitter users have since voiced their thoughts over the significant drop in Doja's Instagram followers. In the replies section of a tweet about Doja's followers, one suggested, "Ok celebs, what have we learned this week from Doja Cat and Miranda Lambert? Stop disrespecting your fans or you won't have any left to disrespect."
Another joined in, "When she apologizes for her behavior, no one needs to forgive her, she was serious about her tweets." A third pointed out, "Never like her since day 1, and never will. To me she's a hybrid of a lot of artist, and nothing unique. Now she's showing her true colors, Miau!"
Meanwhile, a fourth proposed a different idea, "They arent her fans. They seem to be entitled brats who are upset that their parasocial delusions were stopped because they asked a question and didn't get the answer they wanted. Don't look to celebrities who don't know you for validation."
Just a few days earlier, Doja lashed out at her fans for naming her fandom "Kittenz." Over the weekend (July 22 to July 23), she wrote in a since-deleted Threads, "My fans don't name themselves s**t. If you call yourself a 'kitten' or f***ing 'kittenz' that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house."
Doja also deemed one of her fans "crazy" for using her government name as their username. "You making my government name ur sn is creepy as f**k," she told her fan whose screen name is @amalazandiledlamlni.
