The actress portraying Mary Jane Paul on 'Being Mary Jane' previously made it clear that she's embraced her 'old age' as she showed off her gray hair in a June Instagram video.

AceShowbiz - Gabrielle Union won't let anyone be her fashion police. When speaking to Hilary Kerr in a recent episode of the "Who What Wear" podcast, the "Bring It On" actress revealed that someone told her that she's too old to wear swimsuits, but she couldn't care less about it.
"Somebody said, 'You're old enough to be somebody's grandma, why are you still in—like wearing swimsuits?' " the 50-year-old divulged. "I'm like, 'First of all, they're not just swimsuits. They are thongs. And you're gonna see these cheeks until my a** literally falls off, and I might just wear a swimsuit in the casket.' "
"I don't know. That just might be for you, for that one commenter," the wife of Dwyane Wade added. "It's just gonna be like, me in a thong, like, a**-up in the casket."
Gabrielle went on to note, "I don't want anyone else to feel that invisibility and that sense of worthlessness, because the only people that we need to validate us is us." She continued, "And sometimes, the more that you validate your damn self, the more people are like, 'Yeah, mhmm. Yep!' "
Gabrielle previously made it clear that she's embraced her "old age." On June 1, she shared an Instagram video that displayed her sharing how she took care of her natural hair after braids removal. "Braids are out," she began telling the camera before showing off gray hair at her hairline. "That's how much you can tell it grew because you can see all the grays... Welcome to old age, kids."
In that same video, Gabrielle was joined by her 4-year-old daughter, Kaavia James, who briefly helped her with her hair. At one point, Kaavia could be heard exclaiming, "Look at your curls!" In response, Gabrielle confirmed to her little girl, "My curls are coming back!"
Gabrielle went on to show the final result of her hair care routine by posing in front of a huge mirror. Accompanying the clip, she wrote in the caption, "Slip without the fall." She also listed all the products she used by writing, "@flawlessbygu 5 Butter Miracle Masque, 5 Butter Leave-In Conditioner, Scalp Soothing Tonic."
