Flavor Flav Supports Writers Strike With Pizza and Burger

In an effort to show solidarity to the Writers Guild of America, the Public Enemy rapper gives free entertainment by performing the group's protest anthem 'Fight the Power'.

AceShowbiz - Flavor Flav has shown his support for the writers strike. In an effort to show solidarity to the Writers Guild of America, the Public Enemy rapper delivered food to striking writers, offered some encouraging words and provided them with some entertainment.

On Thursday, May 18, the 64-year-old could be seen bringing along pizza, burgers and fries for the WGA members protesting outside Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California. He also treated them to a performance of his group's protest anthem "Fight the Power" and did not forget to encourage them by saying, "[I'm] glad to be here, glad to support. I got ya'll back."

For the occasion, Flavor opted to wear an electric blue and yellow jacket on top of a yellow shirt and a pair of blue and yellow track pants. He completed his look with a green cap, a pair of white and green Nike sneakers and a pair of white-framed black shades.

Later on that same day, the rapper took to Instagram to once again express his support for the writers strike. He wrote, "FLAVOR FLAV::: Don't Write,,, Just Fight! Fight the Power!!! Your boy supports all the Tv and movie writers out there fighting for their rights and wages."

"Always been a supporter of 'doing the write thing' Got to meet the writers from Ted Lasso , and Abbott Elementary," he went on to note. "! #Believe that Flavor Flav and Ava Flav have your back ,,, cuz I'll be back."

Accompanying his supportive message, Flavor let out a video taken during his visit. In the short clip, he could be seen posing for photos with some of the writers including Jason Sudeikis from the "Ted Lasso" team and Quinta Brunson from the "Abbott Elementary" team.

Flavor's post quickly received good responses from his followers. One in particular thanked him as saying, "My 2 favorite shows. Thank you for lending your voice to WGA." Another praised, "That's was real dope of you bra. Keep supporting those who stand against what's not right or stand up for what they need." A third exclaimed, "Always a good time with u Flav. BX."

Flavor was the latest addition to the big names that have publicly shown their solidarity to the Writers Guild of America strike. Snoop Dogg previously expressed his encouragement for the protesting writers during a panel. Pete Davidson, on the other hand, delivered pizza to the protesters outside New York City's Silvercup Studios.

Jennifer Coolidge has also voiced her support when she delivered her acceptance speech at 2023 MTV Movie and TV Awards. In addition, on May 9, Imagine Dragons performed some of their biggest hits outside Netflix's headquarters in Los Angeles.
