Through her lawyers, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is accusing iHandy of profiting from an image of her that was intended to promote her own KKW beauty line.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has hit bosses at makeup app iHandy with a $10 million (£7 million) lawsuit after alleging they used her image without permission.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has accused the company of profiting from a photo that was intended to promote her own KKW beauty line.

Kardashian's lawyers are also shooting down the iHandy defence that bosses were unaware it was an image of the brunette beauty.

"Defendant claim, absurdly, as its alleged defense... that they didn't know that the unlicensed, unauthorized photo they knowingly stole and misappropriated was that of (Kim Kardashian West)... one of the most famous and recognizable women in the world," a statement reads.

Kardashian is seeking damages that include the cost of licensing her photo plus emotional distress.
