AceShowbiz - Rapper The Game is facing a new demand for almost $36,000 (£24,500) in legal fees after losing a lawsuit against bosses at media giant Viacom.
The dispute relates to a 2015 legal battle the Dreams hitmaker lost against Priscilla Rainey, who claimed she was sexually assaulted while filming a scene in a Los Angeles bar for the star's reality show She's Got Game, in which women competed for the MC's affection.
He denied the accusations, but was ordered to hand over $7.1 million (£5.4 million) to Rainey, a ruling he is currently appealing.
The Game subsequently launched his own lawsuit against Viacom executives last year (17), demanding they cover the costs of the default judgment, while he was also seeking another $13 million (£9.9 million) in damages, alleging company chiefs, who own the VH1 network on which She's Got Game aired, should never have allowed Rainey to appear on the show because of her history of arrests for battery, while she was also noted to have suffered from mental health issues.
Viacom heads fired back and successfully had the case dismissed in June, and now they want The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, to pick up their legal bill, according to court papers obtained by TheBlast.com.
A decision has yet to be made on the motion.
