AceShowbiz - Pop superstar Shakira has removed a necklace from her online merchandise store after its design was likened to a Nazi symbol.
The gold pendant featured an image of a sun, but a reporter for German outlet Bento recently pointed out its striking similarity to the Nazi's Black Sun or Sunwheel symbol, which incorporated hidden swastikas.
So Shakira most likely accidentally put a nazi symbol on her tour merch and didn’t know it lmao pic.twitter.com/HRjP41owbO

The item had been released as part of Shakira's El Dorado World Tour collectibles, but it has since been pulled from sale.
On Friday, June 22, Live Nation concert promoters issued a statement apologising for the poor design choice, insisting they had only intended to acknowledge the "Hips Don't Lie" singer's Colombian roots with the piece.
"The necklace Live Nation designed for Shakira's El Dorado World Tour was based on Pre-Columbian imagery," company officials share in a statement. "However, some fans have expressed concern that the design bears an unintentional resemblance to Neo-Nazi imagery. We sincerely apologise for this inadvertent similarity and have permanently pulled the item from the tour collection."
