The 'Greenleaf' star has filed court papers to end her seven-year marriage to Christopher Johnston.

AceShowbiz - Broadway and TV star Merle Dandridge is heading for divorce.

The actress, who currently leads the cast in Oprah Winfrey's TV drama series Greenleaf, filed court papers on Wednesday (20Jun18) to end her seven-year marriage to Christopher Johnston, reports TheBlast.com.

The estranged couple, which does not have any children together, wed in Los Angeles in 2011.

In addition to her starring role in Greenleaf, Dandridge has appeared in TV shows Rosewood, The Night Shift, and Sons of Anarchy, and graced the Broadway stage in hit musicals Rent and Jesus Christ Superstar.

She is also famed in the video game world for playing Alyx Vance in Half Life 2 and Evelyn in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
