The 'Desperate Housewives' alum gave birth to a baby boy named Santiago Enrique Baston on Tuesday, June 19 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

AceShowbiz - Eva Longoria has welcomed her first child.

The former Desperate Housewives actress and her husband Jose 'Pepe' Baston confirmed in late December (17) that they were expecting a baby after several months of speculation.

And on Wednesday, June 20, Eva announced in a statement to HOLA! USA that she had given birth to a baby boy on Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Eva and Pepe shared that their son weighed 6 lbs and 13 oz (three kilograms) and that they have decided to name him Santiago Enrique Baston.

"We are so grateful for this beautiful blessing," they said.

The couple also shared a photograph of Eva holding the tiny infant on her chest and another one of her sporting a necklace featuring his name.

Eva celebrated the impending arrival of her son at a star-studded baby shower in May, with the likes of Elizabeth Banks, Sophia Bush, Melanie Griffith, and her former Desperate Housewives co-star Marcia Cross, in attendance.

She also recently revealed how excited she was to welcome her first child but added she's more intrigued to see how much hair her baby boy would have.

"I can't wait to meet him. I just can't wait to see what his personality is like, what he looks like, how much hair he's going to have," the 43-year-old told E! News. "There's so much to look forward to, and it's becoming more real every day.

"I'm like, 'Oh, he's going to have to come out eventually, right? It's not just like, 'Oh, pregnancy is so great'... He's eventually gonna be here."

Eva and Jose, 50, met on a blind date arranged by a mutual friend and married in Mexico in May 2016. Jose has three adult children from a previous marriage.
