The Australian actor agrees to forfeit half of all funds earned during their four-and-a-half-year marriage.

AceShowbiz - Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn has settled his divorce by agreeing to forfeit half of all funds earned during the four-and-a-half-year marriage.

British author Emma Nadine Forrest filed court papers in December, 2016, seeking physical custody of the estranged couple's only child, five-year-old daughter Carolina, and spousal support.

The exes have since reached a deal to forgo alimony, although Mendelsohn will have to share half of his royalties and residuals for projects made during their union. Those payments include cheques for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in which he portrayed Director Orson Krennic, and Netflix drama series Bloodline, for which he earned three Emmy nominations.

The 49-year-old star, who rakes in $1.44 million (£1.09 million) a year, will also have to hand over a lump sum of $525,000, as well as just over $7,150 (£5,420) in monthly child support, with Forrest granted primary physical custody of their kid, reports TheBlast.com.

Mendelsohn and Forrest wed in 2012, and separated in October, 2016.
