Movie

The sneak-peek video shows the Farrier children's bond with the titular elephant that helps Dumbo soar high in the Dreamland circus.

AceShowbiz - Disney has released the first teaser trailer for its live-action "Dumbo". Coming from the visionary man Tim Burton ("Beetlejuice", "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Alice in Wonderland"), the upcoming movie is a remake to Walt Disney's 1941 animated film of the same name.

Set to a heartwarming song, the video introduces the titular elephant and shows the shy animal's first meeting with Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins). "We're all family here. No matter how small," Milly says.

The video also offers glimpses of the Dreamland circus that draws a lot of audience. Eva Green plays Colette Marchant, a French trapeze artist who performs at the circus. Apparently with the kids' encouragement, Dumbo finds his place in the circus as he shows his ability to fly.

The all-new grand live-action adventure "Dumbo" expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier and his children Milly and Joe to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus.

But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant, until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets.
