The 30-second clip features the former country singer playing the other woman in Jennifer Nettles and Brandon Routh's marriage.

AceShowbiz - Those watching the 2018 CMT Music Awards on June 7 were treated to a big surprise during one commercial break. Sugarland debuted teaser for "Babe" music video, which stars Taylor Swift, Brandon Routh and Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush.

In the 30-second clip, Routh and Nettles play husband and wife respectively as Swift appears to take on the role of the former's side chick. It begins with scenes of Nettles and Routh enjoying their peaceful marriage life before Swift, who rocks a fiery red hair, comes into their life.

"How could you do this babe?" Nettles sings in the clip, as Swift provides harmony in the background. "You really blew this, babe/ We ain't getting through this one, babe/ This is the last time I'll ever call you, babe."

The full music video is set to be released on Saturday, June 9.

Bush further teased the music video in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, calling it "your favorite summer movie you haven't seen yet." He said of the visuals, "It's red-headed Taylor. Which I think is... it could be a giveaway if you're a 'Mad Men' fan, but maybe not." Nettles added, "It's cinematic. It's a period piece, if you will."

"Babe" was unveiled on April 19. Written by Taylor and Patrick Monahan, the song was initially going to be included on her fourth studio album "Red". Nettles previously dished on how the collaboration came to happen when Sugarland attended the 2018 ACM Awards.

"She was excited we were getting back together and reach out and said, 'Hey, I have a song,' " she said. "That is a short list, ladies and gentleman, of people to whom she has said, 'Hey, I have a song, you want to sing it?' So we said, 'Yeah!' "
