Priscilla Rainey previously filed a suit against the rapper, claiming she was assaulted while filming a scene in a Los Angeles bar for 'She's Got Game'.

AceShowbiz - Rapper The Game has lost his legal battle with bosses at media firm Viacom after a judge ruled they were not financially responsible for a sexual assault lawsuit involving a contestant on his dating show.

The Dreams hitmaker, real name Jayceon Taylor, lost the 2015 suit brought against him by Priscilla Rainey, who claimed she was assaulted while filming a scene in a Los Angeles bar for She's Got Game, in which women competed for the MC's affection.

He denied the accusations and is currently appealing the $7.1 million (£5.3 million) ruling.

Last year (17), The Game decided to take Viacom officials to court to cover the costs of the default judgment, and seek another $13 million (£9.7 million) in damages, alleging company chiefs, who own the VH1 network on which She's Got Game aired, should never have allowed Rainey to appear on the show.

He argued his accuser had a criminal history, which included felony arrests for aggravated battery, and was even highlighted as a possible troublemaker by a doctor working on the show.

However, lawyers for Viacom filed to dismiss the case in June, 2017 and on Tuesday, June 05 a judge sided with them, according to The Blast.
