The 66-year-old has vehemently denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.

AceShowbiz - Harvey Weinstein has formally pleaded not guilty to rape and sexual assault.

The disgraced movie mogul appeared at the Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday, June 05 after he was indicted by a grand jury last week on two counts of rape and one of a criminal sexual act for alleged incidents involving two women in 2004 and 2013.

Weinstein quietly responded to a series of questions from the judge regarding his rights at the hearing.

The 66-year-old has vehemently denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.

Since exposes were published in major U.S. publications in early October, over 80 women including some celebrities, have accused Weinstein of harassment and assault, as well as paying or coercing them to stay silent.

His lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, has challenged the credibility of Weinstein's alleged victims and says the movie mogul is going to clear his name.
