The 'Dusk Till Dawn' singer will design a line of accessories with the brand as part of his new deal.

AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik has been unveiled as the first menswear muse for fashion house The Kooples.

The singer will design a line of accessories with the brand as part of his new deal, which was announced on Thursday, May 31.

A spokesman for the French company claims the former One Direction star's edgy "rock-'n'-roll and bold attitude" is a perfect fit for the brand's "streetwear and urban style".

Zayn will appear in the fashion house's upcoming Fall 2018 campaign, while his accessories line, which is expected later this year, marks The Kooples' first collaboration of its kind with a celebrity.

Nicolas Dreyfus, The Kooples co-founder and CEO, tells WWD.com, "He (Malik) has a rebellious, tough attitude with a casual yet always elegant sense of style. Zayn is sexy, creative and charismatic and was deeply involved throughout the design and creation process.

"He is also a renowned top singer worldwide, a social media star with 29 million followers on Instagram and an influencer targeted toward Millennials, who remain at the heart of our digital strategy".

The Pillowtalk singer isn't the only new face for the brand - models Irina Shayk and Stella Maxwell will be featured in the company's new women's campaign, marking the first time two spokeswomen have been chosen to front a collection.

New mum Irina and Stella will take over from Emily Ratajkowski, who fronted The Kooples' campaign last season.

"They embody the highly fashionable, sexy, cool and cutting-edge aesthetic of The Kooples brand," the spokesman adds, revealing they'll be teaming up with Ratajkowski to co-design a line of handbags.
